The valve products provided for hydropower stations by our company include:

The valves of the hydropower station are mainly ?installed on the water diversion pipe in front of water turbine in the hydropower station, mainly consisting of quick gate, penstock protection valve (or bulkhead gate), water inlet valve of the turbine, and the flow regulating valve. The valves of hydropower station are indispensable components for the safe operation and maintenance of the hydropower station.

 

1.Inlet Spherical valves

1.1 Specifications

  • Valve nominal diameter: DN500-DN3500
  • Nominal pressure PN25-PN120
  • Medium temperature: 0-65℃
  • Applicable medium Water

1.2 Purpose

  • If the unit cannot operate due to any fault, the flowing water shall be emergently closed to prevent the accident from expanding.
  • If the unit is closed for a long period, the upstream water shall be cut off to reduce the water leakage amount and wearing of the guide vanes and prevent the unit from moving. During overhaul of the unit, the upstream water shall be cut off to keep the water diversion pipe with full water, so as to ensure the unit can be quickly started.
  • When a main water delivery pipe is adopted to supply water for several units, and one of the units needs to be overhauled, it only needs to close the inlet valve of the unit, which will not affect the normal operation of other units.

2.2 Application

3.3 Applicable working conditions

  • Flow regulation of water in taking from reservoir and gravity water delivery;
  • It is installed in the water inlet pipe of the pool pumping station in the pipe network, which is used for drainage pressure maintaining in the pool at night.
  • It can be used at the water supply valve and connection valve of water supply by pressure and district.
  • It can be used for local water distribution and pressure limit for large-scale pipe network.
  • It can be used as constant flow automatic regulating valve with a flow sensor or single loop controller.
  • It be used as branch pressure and water level controllers with a pressure sensor or water level controller.
  • It can be used in process cooling system and safety protection system of hydropower stations.

3.4 Introduction of products

It can drive the piston cylinder to move forward and backward, and regulate the open area of regulating valves through the electric actuator or hydraulic device drive and transmission mechanism to open and close or adjust the flow or pressure.
